This bollock dagger is based on originals dated from the 14th century, although this type of dagger was very common during the 15th century too.

The dagger’s blade is straight, double-edged and tapers off from hilt to top. The wooden grip has a guard which is equipped with two spherical or oval bulges.

Our reconstruction is very close to the late medieval originals. The grip is carved from one wooden piece, the sheath is made from solid cowhide. Even the fittings from brass meet the original as far as possible. The blade from carbon steel has not been sharpened however.

Details:

– Total length: approx. 39 cm

– Blade length: approx. 25.5 cm

– Material: Blade from carbon steel, solid wooden grip, leather sheath, fittings from brass

– Weight: approx. 250 g
