Reproduction of a scandinavian disc-shaped brooch. The original was found at the village of Filborna in Scania in southern Sweden.
Although this replica is bronze casted, which permits us offering it for a very affordable price, the original one was made in silver by the granulation and filigree technique, which makes of this brooch an authentic masterpiece of the scandinavian silversmithing craft.
This filigree/granulation decoration is called “Terslev” style and it is dated from the 9th-10th centuries.
