Bronze brooch, replica of the find of Wight, England, dated from the early 6th century.

This is a square-headed brooch that was unearthed from the grave of a woman on 1855. Its style and technique are influenced by southern Scandinavian metalwork and it’s a beautiful example of Style I art, characterized by a lot of interwoven figures.

Measures: 9 cm x 4 cm.
