Medieval falchion suitable for combat. Based on the specimen shown in the illuminations of the Cantigas de Santa María by Alfonso X the Wise, dated from the 13th century.

In the vignette that has served as our inspiration, in addition, the contenders use the cape rolled up in their hand as a defense, possibly being one of the first and earliest representations of the use of the cape as a defense.

Made of steel with rounded edges and a wooden handle with brass rivets.

We recommend not storing the blade inside the sheath for long periods of time because leather is a hygroscopic material and therefore can transmit moisture to the metal and rust it over time.

Carbon steel is not treated so it may have rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with synthetic or mineral oil. Claims due to this reason will not be accepted.
