Buclke and belt end, based on scandinavian originals from the 15th century.
The buckle features a lobed decoration, in this case with two symmetrical lateral protrusions. The openwork decoration allows the leather to be seen through the plate and ferrule once the belt is made.
Both the buckle plate and belt end feature openwork trefoils—a decorative motif widely used in many artistic disciplines during the Late Middle Ages. The belt end also has a stylized shape similar to the pinnacles seen in the architecture of the period and is finished at its end with a four-petaled flower.
Perfect for 14th to 15th centuries re-enactment.
Hand-made with brass.

Buckle measures: 8 x 4.1 cm. For a belt of 3 cm.
Belt end measures: 8 x 3 cm.
Rivets for installation are included.
