Early Medieval Hinges from Mästermyr

Hand-forged hinges with closure mechanism, based on the mechanism found at the famous chest from Mästermyr mire west of Hemse on the island of Gotland

Made of mild steel with a blackened finish.

Measurements:

– Hinge: 22.5 x 1.5 cm (individual parts 12 + 11 cm).
– Hasp: 20 x 1.5 cm (individual parts 11.5 + 9.5 cm)
– Cramp: 5.5 x 3 cm

This set includes two hinges, closure and the nails for its installation on a wooden chest.
