The “Puukko” is a small traditional Finnish knife. It has a solid, slightly curved single-edged blade and a straight back.
It is stored in a leather sheath with a loop for hang it from the belt. The puukko is used for various outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, bushcraft, wood carving, etc.). It is considered an integral part of the Finnish cultural heritage.
The blade has “brut de forge” finishing and it presents a typical bevelled edge made of carbon steel with a high hardness.
The handle is made of birch wood, reindeer horn and brass. The sheath is made of leather and curly birch wood.
Approximated dimensions: Overall length 18 cm, blade of 7.7 cm, with a thickness of 3 mm.
Leather scabbard included.
