God Ukko’s Amulet

This beautiful amulet represents the “Ukonvasara” or “Ukonkirves”, the magic axe which was wielded by the finnish god of thunder, Ukko (the finnish reflection of the scandinavian god Thor). It’s based on a find from Ylipää / Lieto, Finland and it’s dated from the 9th century.

It is hand-made with bronze.
