Hand Forged Sickle

Hand-forged sickle for historical reenactment.

The sickle is a very primitive tool as old as cereal cultivation. Some sickles were made of stone and wood, which belonged to the Neolithic and it was a tool used continuously by humans until modern days.

On this one, the spike extends and curves forming the handle in one piece, in the style of the Iron Age knives.

It has a beautiful “brut de forge” finish and although it is sharpened, it may require additional sharpening.

Made of 1095 high carbon steel.
