Knife for medieval reenactment, based on the archaeological finds from Birka, Sweden.
The handle was made of ash wood handle with a bone ferrule and the blade is hand forged.
The blade, with a broken back shape, has “brut de forge” finishing and it presents a typical Scandinavian bevelled edge and is made with 1085 high carbon steel with a hardness of 55-58 HRC.
Approximated dimensions: Overall length 19 cm, blade of 8 cm long and 1.8 cm wide, and 4 mm thick.
Leather scabbard included.
