Traditional wooden cup of Scandinavian origin. The oldest are about 6000 years old.
Called “Kåsa”, “Kuksa” or “Guksi”, they were later adopted by the Sami people.
The Sámi people are an indigenous Finno-Ugric people inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses large northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Kola Peninsula within the Murmansk Oblast of Russia.
This mug is handcrafted with linden wood.
