Replica of a medieval cross found in the West Midlands and from a Staffordshire collection.
It is possibly dated from the 13th century, although crosses with a similar decoration have been found in various regions in Europe since the 6th century, possibly due to an oriental influence through the comerce with Byzantium.
As the original one, it is handmade of bronze. Available too in silver plated bronze.
