Medieval Lantern with Horn Window

This medieval lantern or lamp is composed by a brass structure with a window made of translucent horn. It’s based on medieval exemplars from the 14th century.

The horn window presents small brass hinges and a latch which could be opened to place the candle.

The polished brass finish, beaufifully adorned with geometrical designs, makes this an unique and authentic complement, worthy of being part of the equipment of all historical reenactor.
