Hand forged shieldboss, made with 3mm thickness steel sheet.
This shield boss is based on many exemplars from the 5th to 7th century, widely used by merovingians, anglosaxons or wisigoths, among others.
Diameter: about 20 cm. Weight: ~800 gr.

- Length: approx. 5 cm
- Head diameter: approx. 1.4 cm
- Thickness at the base of the head: approx. 4 mm
Note: The installation of the nails could require the modification of the shieldboss or the nails theirselves, as their section is square, not round.
