“St Wenceslas” Inspired Helmet – 2 mm

A fully battle-ready, authentic replica of the so-called Wenceslas Helmet, found in Prague and dated to the 10th century.

As these helmets were generally worn in combination with a padded cap and a chainmail coif, we offer this helmet in three sizes with sufficient space.

The helmet is made from 2 mm thick sheet steel. The two helmet halves are welded together in the middle. The sturdy nasal is made of 3 mm thick steel and riveted onto the helmet, thus offering robust protection during combat re-enactment.

Delivery includes a riveted, high-quality, adjustable padded cloth liner and a chin strap with brass buckle.

The steel is untreated and could have rust. To protect the steel you may rub it with mineral or synthetic oil. No returns will be accepted due to these issues.
