Sword chape decorated on “Borre” style, based on the archaeological find from Nóvgorod, Russia, and dated from the 10th century.
This piece was used to protect and decorate the end of a sword scabbard. Many of these pieces has been found and they present a huge variety of decorative motifs.
Hand-made with brass.
