This peculiar amulet is inspired by a brooch found at Staraya Ladoga, Russia. Dated from the 10th century.
The original was made of bronze with the granulation/filigree technique, so common in Slavic regions. Our replica, although it’s casted in bronze, shows with accuracy all details of this antique technique.
Hand made of bronze. The stone in the center is a natural garnet.
Measures: 3.2 x 2.5 cm.
