This sword is based on many finds from the Viking Age. Its design was very common and, according the Petersen clasification, this sword has a Type M hilt and it’s dated from the 10th century.

Available in two versions: decorative (1mm decorative edge, not suitable for combat) and with a blunt blade for combat.
Wooden scabbard covered with leather is included.

The steel used here is not rust-proof and might show slight surface tarnishing in places. We recommend you to maintain the blade on a regular basis, for example using Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideally suited for steel care.
