Blade for making great seax for historical reenactment.

Many seaxes with this shape were found in England and are dated from the 9th to the 11th century.

The blade is tempered and has a hardness of 55-57 HRC.

It presents a beautiful “brut de forge” finishing and a scandi edge and although it has a sharped edge it could need an extra sharpening.
