This brooch is based on the pendant found at the famous treasure from Stora Ryk, Gotland, Sweden (10-11th century).
The original was made of bronze with the granulation/filigree technique, so common in Slavic regions. Our replica, although it’s casted in bronze, shows with accuracy all details of this ancient technique.
