The “Puukko” is a small traditional Finnish knife. It has a solid, slightly curved single-edged blade and a straight back.
It is stored in a leather sheath with a loop for hang it from the belt. The puukko is used for various outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, bushcraft, wood carving, etc.). It is considered an integral part of the Finnish cultural heritage.
The blade has “brut de forge” finishing and it presents a typical bevelled edge made of carbon steel with a high hardness.
The handle is made of willow gnarl wood, reindeer horn and brass.
Approximated dimensions: Overall length 20.5 cm, blade of 9 cm, with a thickness of 3 mm.
Leather scabbard included.
