Blade for making great seax for historical reenactment.

Many seaxes with this shape were used by Franks, Visigoths, Anglosaxons and other germanic tribes.

The blade is made of 1095 carbon steel, tempered with hardness of 55-57 HRC.

It presents a beautiful “brut de forge” finishing and a scandi edge and although it has a sharped edge it could need an extra sharpening.
