Viking Helmet of Gjermundbu – Deluxe Edition

Replica of the helmet of Gjermundbu, 9th century.

This helmet, crowned with a characteristic spike, is made with four pieces of metal joined with riveted bands.

It presents the traditional occularia or mask shaped protection. The same as the original helmet, it’s decorated with bronze inlays.

It has also includes inner liner made of leather and a leather strap with a buckle.

This helmet is made entirely by hand on two available sizes:

– M: circumference of 61-62 cm

– L: circumference of 63-65 cm

It is made of 1.6 mm steel.

You can choose with open or closed riveted chainmail.
