This peculiar amulet is a replica of a similar pendant to the one found at the famous treasure from Stora Ryk, Gotland, Sweden (10-11th century).
The original is kept in a private collection.
The original was made of bronze with the granulation/filigree technique, so common in Slavic regions. Our replica, although it’s casted in bronze, shows with accuracy all details of this antique technique.
