Whetstone based on several samples from the Viking Age. It includes a leather strap fastened with a brass fitting, to hang it from the belt.
These utensils were very common on daily life and many of them were found at archaeological sites, as Birka or Haithabu, where a lot of them with different shapes were found.

A nice and practical little whetstone. It is compact, easy to handle and fits perfectly into my historical kit.
Four stars because the finish could be a little more refined. Overall, though, I am very happy with it and would happily use it again.
