The spear was a hunting tool used from the dawn of the humanity. This hunting tool, with a stylized shape, was used on Europe from the Antiquity.

This type of javelin with a characteristic long socket was very common during the Migration Period and there are many anglosaxon examples, dated from the 6th century, with this stylized design.

Made of high carbon steel.
