Knife for medieval reenactment, based on the archaeological finds from Haithabu / Hedeby.

The handle was made of ash wood, with bone ferrule and a hand forged blade.

The blade, with a broken back shape, has “brut de forge” finishing and it presents a typical Scandinavian bevelled edge and is made with 1085 high carbon steel with a hardness of 55-58 HRC.

Approximated dimensions: Overall length 22 cm, blade of 10 cm long and 2 cm wide, and 4 mm thick.

Leather scabbard included.
