Viking knife based on the archaeological find from Birka, grave 151.
The handle is made of oak wood and features a silver wire binding, typical of knives from this period. The blade is made of 1066 high carbon steel.
The sheath is made of vegetable tanned leather hardened with beeswax and bronze and tinned bronze fittings. Although this type of sheath was very common during the Viking Age, we can find numerous examples in Scandinavia, for example in the Gotland.
Perfect for historical reenactment, hunting or bushcraft.
Dimensions: 19,5 cm total length, 9 cm blade.
